Sharing Trips

Share your itinerary with the people traveling with you, or with anyone you just want to keep in the loop.

Share Options

Open the Share button to generate a link. There are two kinds:

• View Only: Read-only, and automatically removes sensitive details like confirmation codes and seat numbers before the link is generated. Good for family and friends who just need the itinerary.
• Collaborator: Full access, editable, for people actively planning the trip with you.

Both link types are private to the people you send them to. TripDeck's servers never see your trip content unencrypted, even while it's being shared.

Revoking Access

If you ever need a new link, you can Generate New Links from the sharing panel. A fresh link is generated and every previously issued link of that type stops working immediately, along with everyone's saved copy of it.

Adding A Shared Trip To Your Account

If someone shares a trip with you, you can add it to your account for easy access later. Their trip will appear in you My Trips under the Shared with Me section. Removing it from your list only affects your own view, it never removes the trip for the owner or anyone else it's shared with.
