Keyboard Shortcuts
Move faster through your itineraries with TripDeck's built-in keyboard shortcuts. Press and hold your modifier key at any time to reveal available shortcut hints directly across the workspace.
How Shortcuts Work
TripDeck keyboard shortcuts use a single modifier key depending on your operating system:
- macOS: Hold the ⌥ Option (or Alt) key.
- Windows / Linux: Hold the Alt key.
When you press and hold Alt or Option, TripDeck displays visual badge hints over top of corresponding toolbar buttons and actions. Releasing the key hides the badges.
Shortcuts are automatically paused whenever your cursor is inside a text input, search box, or text editor so typing is never interrupted.
Navigation & Views
Switch between editor perspectives, toggle peripheral panels, and jump across your itinerary days.

Collapse All Days | Collapse all day cards on the timeline to get a condensed high-level overview. |

Editing & Itinerary Tools
Quickly insert new items and access filtering tools without taking your hands off the keyboard.

Add Event on Last Day | Opens the Add Event modal ready for the final day of your itinerary. |
